Distillation or Ultrafiltration


Distillation is used to create make-up water, which replaces missing boiler feed water, lost through leakage or evaporation. The quality requirements for make-up water and boiler feed water are the same.

Goal of Measurement:
Distillation may be the last step in the creation of “salt free” make-up water. To monitor oxygen entry into boiler feed water. High oxygen contents lead to corrosion and maintenance cost.
